How our own apps and AI agents connect to AlphaCloud through scoped platform APIs.
AlphaCloud has an API and an MCP endpoint that Alpha Efficiency's own apps, automations and AI agents use today. The plan is to let customers' developers and agents connect the same way, acting only within the permissions of the person they work for.
The risky shortcut is giving an agent someone's login, or a key that can do everything. AlphaCloud gives each machine its own key with a fixed set of permissions instead.
Inside Alpha Efficiency, our desktop and iPhone apps, our automations and our AI agents work through this API, and none of them borrows a person's session to do it. The same platform has an MCP endpoint, so agents that speak MCP can use its tools.
This is in use inside Alpha Efficiency. Opening access to outside developers requires accepted customer workspace and permission flows, which are still in development. There is no public developer sign-up yet.
If you'd like to connect your own tools once it opens, tell us what you have in mind.
